Bother. I'm still trying to figure out Picasa and Blogger and why they won't play nicely together when they're both Google Property. I love your French doors! And I admire all your hard furniture-rearranging work! Every day I look around my great room and try to figure out where I could put my stash so I could see it all at once. I just don't think it's possible, unless/until I add on, or move. Of course I could make use of the fireplace, like you do, but mine isn't quite so clean! I really love your Great Falls Ribbed Socks (they really deserve capitalization!). What is the wool that you used -- it's glorious! So is the pattern. Thanks! The short answer is 'no' it won't. And the long answer? How lucky you are that the planet of structure and commitment has made its way to your sector of the sky. Your life, of course, had plenty of purpose before. Now, though, there's an even more deeply satisfying mission for you to carry out. An objective to attain. An ambition to fulfil. A fear to confront. A triumphant victory to accomplish. Big, difficult decisions must now be made, but these can only bring you greater happiness and increased satisfaction. Have courage and be honest. Doesn't that sound like a lot of work? Ugh. Ahh Well. I'm also supposed to remember what it was like in 1977 – which was the year we had to live on $40 a month – I kid you not! - 2 smoking adults and a baby in diapers. The trick was to buy the cigarettes first, then the pampers, and then, with what was left over you bought food. I was so slim back then. (I'd also grown an enormous garden the previous summer and canned 300 quarts of veggies.) I did not like being so broke, but it did teach me that I could survive being that broke. Certainly, this has been the weekend of structure – or might I joke and say decon-STRUCTURE? And because I have the camera and the computer, heh, heh, ... You get the picture? Before - 2 dinky rooms - office mess not mine. After - big bright room - office mess still not mine. We're still in the shove-the-furniture-around mode and there are Shelves which must be built and other Big Things to do - to make room for enormous family antique furniture we will be storing for LD in a few weeks. Happily I will be able to put some of my stash inside the enormous family antique furniture. No knitting was done yesterday. Every bone in my spine ached last night. Maybe some knitting will happen today. posted by Bess | 9:31 AM |
