Love that horoscope plan. By Marfa's Mewsings, at 2:39 PM
Things are looking up! Now they're only predicting showers for Saturday. Here's hoping as the week progresses that the showers come earlier and leave the weekend alone! :-) Ooh, this is exciting, my horoscope is similarly powerful! Subscribe to Post Comments [Atom] Monday, May 01, 2006 Everyone who reads this knows I adore Mr.Horoscope, but at the beginning of the month I like to check out a few other starry sources. For my beloved Virgo friends I offer you this rather thrilling monthly survey and to all fiberistas this excerpt merely continues the promise of yesterday’s happy predictions: Put a gold star on the three days, May 5 - 7, when Jupiter, Uranus, and Mars will be in tight mathematical configuration, and will therefore most likely be helpful to you. To add frosting to the cake, the moon will be in Virgo on May 6 and 7, favoring you and all your interests. Astrologyzone’s musings are particularly powerful for me because there is a career path I want to tread and there’s rather a lot of background work I’ll have to do in order to make the journey possible. I like the idea of taking the month of May to start those tasks - I shall begin with a list. I believe that will be my lunch time activity today: a sweet opportunity list of ThingsToDoToGetWhereIWantToGo. Yes. That sounds just right. And I can think of two dear Virgo friends, Canadian M and Philadelphian M, who’s work world has suddenly had some doors fly open. What say you, my virgo sisters? Ready for adventure? To my doubting Tom and Thomassinas, who wisely point out that it’s unlikely that the same good thing will happen to 1 twelfth of the world at the same time, I say Potah toes to your potatoes and beg indulgences for my silliness. As for the dreadful fellows at weather dot com who have the absolute nerve to predict showers!! for both Saturday and Sunday I say, "Believeth not you true daughters of the wheel and needle. Come to the fair. " In Fiber News there is a completed cotton sock knit from Fixation yarn. It is purple. It is a tad bit wider than it ought to be but I am not about to tamper with completion. I will, though, knit the other sock on fewer stitches - I’ll decrease an extra 2 or so when I do the gusset. I intend to cast on tonight so as to avoid the DSSS that leaves lone socks languishing in solitary uselessness. My only Koigu sock has been sentenced to life in the drawer due to DSSS and I don’t intend to have any more of that in my life. I have enough sweaters that never get finished. Hmmm. I wonder if there is parole for Single Socks? Does the cuff have to match? No! Perhaps I shall make a prison visit and give that little Koigu sock some hope. It would be interesting if the only UFO’s I actually complete during this Year Of No New Fibers, Fleece, or Yarn turn out to be Second Socks. As for my TTDbMSW list - I will try once again to post, and this time with more enthusiasm, since I accomplished a bit more yesterday than on Saturday.
